Minutes of the Special Meeting
1)
Call to order:
Mayor Kelly called the meeting to order at 1:05 pm.
All members were in attendance except Mark Beaven.
Purpose: The
meeting was called to meet with Mike Pullen and County
consultants for Economic Development Opportunities Blueprint and a closed
session was called by the Mayor.
Council in Attendance:

2) Declaration of Pecuniary Interest:
Lynn Hoy
declared a pecuniary interest on the closed session, due to the proximity
of the subject to his property.
3) Business
Closed Session:
1. To receive a Confidential report from the Avon Maitland School Board.

3.1 Enter into Closed Session:
Moved by Jim Nelemans Seconded by Edna McLellan
“That the Council adjourn the Public Session of Council and enter into a Closed
to the
Public Session for a matter pursuant to the Municipal Act, Section 239 (2) (b)
Identifiable Individual at 1:10 pm .”

3.2 Adjourn the Closed Session:
Moved by Bill Thompson Seconded by Edna McLellan
“That the Council adjourn the Closed to the public session and re-enter regular
open
session of council at 1:25 pm .”
Disposition Carried.

A confidential matter was discussed.
Lynn Hoy returned to the meeting.
